One of my employers in South Carolina was the Department of Corrections. I developed the Hospice and Palliative Care and Hospice program there in 7 institutions - my office was behind bars in Kirkland (below)
Two of my colleagues in the South Carolina Department of Correction - Rev. Dr. Robert Scotland and Imam Omar Shaheed - dinner and lunch with each of them - lunch at Lizard's Thicket with fried okra and mac & cheese
I served Mt. Hebron Lutheran (left) as an Interim for a year while working in corrections and Baptist Hospital (right) is where I did my CPE Residency.
Frank "Sparky" and JoAn Douglass - Sparky was a CPE Residency classmate of mine at Baptist - we had a delightful dinner together and sharing of stories and jogging memories
